and Incident Management
We provide executive level consulting on crisis and incident management, including
understanding the National Incident Management System and the National Response Plan. In a post September 11th and Hurricane
Katrina environment no executive, whether in government or the private sector, can risk being unprepared to lead in a crisis.
Strategic
Communications
Understanding how to communicate effectively in the homeland security environment is extremely
important. Providing information to the public or to employees in a crisis or even a routine situation about potential risks
and actions to be taken is essential to effective management of that situation. With our first hand experience in developing
communications strategies at the local and federal level, we work with our clients to develop plans and procedures for communicating
on a wide variety of homeland security issues.

Planning is
a fundamental underpinning to enhanced security. Filler Security Strategies provides its clients with counseling and technical
assistance on planning, including writing and developing grant investment justifications, state preparedness reports, homeland
security strategies, organizing Urban Area Working Groups, as well as assisting clients in assessing current preparedness
capabilities. We help our clients better understand the policies, grants and technical assistance the federal government provides
for critical infrastructure protection, equipment, training, planning, and exercises. We also help our clients understand
where the federal government’s preparedness policies may go in the future and what it could all mean to homeland security

Intelligence
and Information Sharing
Good intelligence is the key to the prevention of terrorism and reducing overall
risk, whatever the hazard. We have been deeply involved in intelligence and information sharing within the federal government
and between the federal government and local, state and tribal governments and the private sector. As the Intelligence Fusion
Process, and Information Sharing Environment required under the Intelligence Reform Act continue to evolve, we help our clients
understand, implement and support the growth of these emerging and critical homeland security areas.
